This part of Longmont centers on the crossroads where Hover Street meets the Diagonal Highway, and it is where much of the city comes to shop, eat, and gather. Village at the Peaks brings together Whole Foods Market, Regal Cinemas, and dozens of shops and restaurants around open-air plazas with fountains and fire pits, while St. Vrain Centre, Twin Peaks Square, and Oskar Blues fill out the corridor along Hover. A paved bikeway follows the Diagonal Highway toward Boulder, passing through a colorful mural tunnel beneath the road. Just beyond the shops, farmland and cottonwoods open toward the foothills, and the Front Range fills the western horizon, which gives this corner of Longmont a feeling of convenience with the mountains always in view.
