Foothills Film + Footage was built by Kyra Coates, an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot insured with both general liability and drone liability coverage, and a communications director and storyteller with over 15 years of experience in nonprofit communications, environmental storytelling, and real estate marketing.

The idea was simple: Boulder County real estate agents need beautiful aerial footage of the communities they serve, but most don't have the time, equipment, or licensing to get it themselves. Foothills Film + Footage fills that gap with a subscription library of cinema-quality 4K drone footage, shot at golden hour across the county's most sought-after neighborhoods.

But this business is about more than footage. It's about relationship with place. The mountains along the Front Range have existed for millions of years before us and will for millions after. We live in their shadows and are held by their generosity. Foothills Film + Footage is an act of reciprocity with that place, giving beauty to those who create home and community for people in need of both.
